About the Festival艺术节介绍

A cello festival connecting Qingdao with the world.一场连接青岛与世界的大提琴艺术节。

Founded by renowned cellist and educator Li-Wei Qin, the Qingdao International Cello Festival has been dedicated since 2018 to creating a bridge between China and the international cello community. The festival gathers leading artists, educators and young musicians for masterclasses, concerts, lectures and artistic exchange in Qingdao.

青岛国际大提琴艺术节由著名大提琴家、教育家秦立巍 Li-Wei Qin 发起，自2018年创办以来，始终致力于搭建连接中国与世界的大提琴艺术交流平台。艺术节汇聚国内外重要演奏家、教育家、青年音乐家与优秀学子，在青岛开展大师课、音乐会、讲座与艺术交流。

Welcome to Qingdao and to the Fifth Qingdao International Cello Festival. Music is more than an art form—it is a language that connects people across cultures and borders. 2018The Soul of Beethoven贝多芬之魂

2018The first Qingdao Cello Festival was held over three days under the theme “The Soul of Beethoven”, bringing together distinguished cellists, educators and makers.2018首届青岛大提琴艺术节于2018年7月13日至15日举办，为期三天，以“贝多芬之魂”为主题，邀请国内外大提琴演奏家、教育家与制琴师共同参与。

A Dialogue between Schumann and Brahms舒曼与勃拉姆斯音乐的对话

The second edition expanded from three days to five days, deepening the festival’s teaching and performance programme.第二届艺术节应广大爱好者要求，由三天延长至五天，以“舒曼与勃拉姆斯音乐的对话”为主题，进一步丰富教学与演出内容。

The Great Bach Moment伟大的巴赫时刻

The third edition focused on Bach and the spiritual depth of the cello repertoire.第三届艺术节以“伟大的巴赫时刻”为主题，聚焦经典作品中的精神力量与演奏传统。

Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Jacqueline du Pré’s Birth纪念杜普蕾诞辰80周年

The fourth edition paid tribute to Jacqueline du Pré and her enduring influence on the world of cello.第四届青岛国际大提琴艺术节以纪念杜普蕾诞辰80周年为主题，向这位影响深远的大提琴家致敬。

Honouring the Roots, Imagining New Voices致敬源流，展望新声

The fifth edition continues the festival’s dialogue between tradition and the contemporary voice of the cello.第五届青岛国际大提琴艺术节以“致敬源流，展望新声”为主题，在传承与当代之间构建关于大提琴艺术的持续对话。
