Xie Tian is a Chinese cellist and teacher who has served as Principal Cellist of the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra and has taught cello at the School of Arts of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2016 he won both the Gold Medal and the Best Interpretation of Bach Works Prize at the 9th Davidov International Cello Competition, having previously received the Gold Award in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concerto Competition. After studying at the Middle School affiliated with the China Conservatory of Music, he trained with Li-Wei Qin at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory and continued his studies in Hannover, Dresden, and Mannheim with Tilmann Wick, Danjulo Ishizaka, and István Várdai. As a soloist he has appeared with the Shenzhen Symphony, Sichuan Symphony, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Orchestra, and European ensembles under a range of Chinese and international conductors. He is also active in chamber music and cello-ensemble projects and is regularly invited to perform, teach, and give masterclasses at festivals, conservatories, and universities.

谢添是中国大提琴演奏家和教师,曾担任四川交响乐团大提琴首席,并在华中科技大学艺术学院从事大提琴教学。2016年,他以各轮领先成绩获得第九届达维多夫国际大提琴比赛金奖及“巴赫作品最佳诠释奖”,此前还曾获新加坡国立大学杨秀桃音乐学院协奏曲比赛金奖。他早年就读于中国音乐学院附中,之后在杨秀桃音乐学院师从秦立巍,并先后赴汉诺威、德累斯顿和曼海姆音乐学院深造,师从Tilmann Wick、Danjulo Ishizaka和István Várdai。作为独奏家,他曾与深圳交响乐团、四川交响乐团、杨秀桃音乐学院交响乐团及欧洲多支乐团合作,并与多位中外指挥家同台。他还积极参与室内乐和大提琴重奏项目,长期受邀在音乐节、音乐学院和高校演出、授课及举办大师班。
