Yeonjin Kim

Yeonjin Kim is a Korean cellist acclaimed internationally as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. She has performed at major venues including the Kennedy Center, Konzerthaus Berlin, the Berlin Philharmonie, Seoul Arts Center and Suntory Hall. Her artistic activities span solo recital, concerto, chamber music and teaching across Asia, Europe and North America. Kim’s musical background includes extensive international study and performance experience. She has worked with musicians and institutions in Korea, the United States, China and Japan, and has appeared in a wide range of concert settings. Her playing is noted for its lyrical quality, sensitivity to ensemble balance and strong chamber music identity. As an educator, she draws on her broad international experience to mentor students from different cultural and musical backgrounds. She is a member of the cello and chamber music faculty at the Tianjin Juilliard School, where she teaches graduate and pre-college students. She has also held teaching appointments and guest faculty roles at institutions including the University of Michigan, Oberlin Conservatory and Furman University. Her teaching and performing career reflects a commitment to both professional excellence and the development of young musicians.

金妍珍是韩国大提琴家，作为独奏家、独奏会演奏家和室内乐音乐家在国际上受到认可。她曾在肯尼迪中心、柏林音乐厅、柏林爱乐厅、首尔艺术中心、三得利音乐厅等重要场馆演出，艺术活动涵盖独奏会、协奏曲、室内乐和教学，足迹遍及亚洲、欧洲与北美。 金妍珍拥有丰富的国际学习与演出经历，曾与韩国、美国、中国、日本等地的音乐家与机构合作，并活跃于多种音乐会形式。她的演奏以抒情性、对重奏平衡的敏锐把握以及鲜明的室内乐气质为特点。作为教师，她将多元国际经验融入教学，指导来自不同文化和音乐背景的学生。 她现任天津茱莉亚学院大提琴与室内乐教师，教授研究生和大学预科学生。她也曾在密歇根大学、欧柏林音乐学院、弗曼大学等机构任教或担任客座教师。她的演奏与教学事业体现了对专业水准和青年音乐人才培养的持续投入。
